Ever Wonder How the Beach keeps its sand ? With normal erosion, hurricanes , and High Tides, millions of tons of sand erodes from these beaches, and needs to be replenished.

The Sand is sucked into this dredger where the sand is extracted from the sea bottom. The Water extracted is pumped into this pipe to an outlet down the beach.

Below is the pipes end where the water is released back into the gulf of mexico.

The Sand is collected from the dredger and redistributed along the beaches. The Crane holds the pipe above water so that the water jet does not wash away the underlying sand.
